How is the rainstorm warning signal graded?

The rainstorm warning signal is divided into four levels, represented by blue, yellow, orange and red.

1. Rainstorm blue warning signal standard: The rainfall will reach more than 50 mm within 12 hours, or it has reached more than 50 mm and the rainfall may continue.

2. Yellow rainstorm warning signal standard: the rainfall will reach more than 50 mm within 6 hours, or it has reached more than 50 mm and the rainfall may continue.

3. Orange warning signal standard for heavy rain: the rainfall will reach more than 50 mm within 3 hours, or it has reached more than 50 mm and the rainfall may continue.

4. Rainstorm red warning signal standard: the rainfall will reach more than 100 mm within 3 hours, or it has reached more than 100 mm and the rainfall may continue.

How are lightning warning signals classified?

The lightning warning signal is divided into three levels, which are represented by yellow, orange and red respectively.

1. Lightning yellow warning signal standard: Lightning activities may occur within 6 hours, which may cause lightning disasters.

2. Lightning orange warning signal standard: There is a high possibility of lightning activity within 2 hours, or it has been affected by lightning activity and may continue, and the possibility of lightning disaster accidents is relatively high.

3. Lightning red warning signal standard: The possibility of lightning activity occurring within 2 hours is very high, or strong lightning activity has already occurred and may continue, and the possibility of lightning disaster accidents is very high.


The rainstorm is coming, how to prevent it?

When the rainstorm comes, close the doors and windows to prevent rainwater from entering the house, and immediately turn off the power supply, gas and other equipment once the water enters.

Cut off dangerous outdoor power in low-lying areas.

Do not take underpasses or passages under viaducts.

Don't walk in running water, water at a depth of 15 cm can cause a person to fall.

If the water is found to be turbulent, turbid and mixed with sediment in the mountains, it may be a precursor to the outbreak of flash floods, and you should leave the stream or river.

When driving in heavy rain, you should turn on the rain and fog lights, slow down, pay attention to preventing flash floods, and avoid stagnant water and landslides.

Be aware of street power facilities, and if a power line slips, move away from it and report it to the power department immediately.

If the residence is likely to be seriously flooded, evacuate the residence and take shelter in a safe place.
