8 universal sensor inputs, each programmable as NPN or PNP, with an input frequency up to 2 kHz. Two relay outputs (one for emergency stop, one for warning).

Response time from sensor trigger to stop signal: 0.8 ms. Operating voltage 24 VDC, consuming 120 mA.

Enclosure Material & Environmental Protection

Die-cast aluminum housing with a tough polyester powder coat finish. Sealed with a continuous silicone gasket and stainless steel screws, achieving IP67.

Resistant to stamping oil and vibration up to 5g. Cable glands feature strain relief and silicone seals.

Installation & Protective Principle

Sensors are mounted at various stations: a proximity switch detects correct strip feed advance, a through-beam part ejection sensor confirms part exit, and a double-feed optical sensor checks thickness.

The controller is taught the normal timing window for each signal from the press cam encoder. If any signal arrives late or is missing, the controller instantly opens the stop relay, cutting power to the press clutch and applying the brake within one stroke, thus preventing the die from crashing down on a misfed or double-thickness condition.
