Load & Adjustment Parameters

Static load rating: 50 N, dynamic lifting force during feed: 12 N. Height adjusts in 0.5 mm steps by turning a threaded base with lock nut.

Deflection under max load is less than 0.05 mm, verified with a digital force gauge.

Material Selection & Wear Control

Lifter pin: SUJ2 bearing steel, hardened to HRC 62, ground to g6 tolerance. The top pad is sintered bronze (CuSn10) infused with PAO oil, delivering a low-friction surface without external grease.

Return spring: AISI 302 stainless steel, with a square ground end for consistent spring rate.

Kinematic Working Principle

As the strip feeds forward, the lifter rises under spring force, and the angled top pad gently lifts the strip above die buttons. During the press's downward stroke, the pad is depressed flush with the die plate, allowing the punch to pierce and form.

Oil film from the bronze pad transfers to the strip underside, eliminating the need for additional lubrication. Integrated polymer wiper seal keeps debris out of the assembly pocket.
