Daily maintenance of metal stamping dies is fundamental to extending die life and preventing safety hazards, and must be integrated into daily work procedures. Before operation, check the die cutting edges, guide pillars, and guide bushings for oil stains and waste material accumulation, and clean them promptly with specialized tools to prevent die jamming. Regularly apply lubricating oil to moving parts such as guide pillars, guide bushings, and ejector pins to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear and jamming. After daily work, clean the die surface and cavity waste material, wipe it clean, apply anti-rust oil, and store it properly to prevent the die from moisture and corrosion. At the same time, check whether the die fastening bolts and positioning pins are loose, and tighten them promptly.

Die troubleshooting must follow the principle of "stopping the machine and disconnecting the power, checking the appearance first, and then finding the root cause," and prohibiting unauthorized operation. If a jamming fault occurs, immediately turn off the equipment power. After the slide stops, use specialized tools to clean the waste material, check the die cutting edges for foreign objects, and check whether the positioning is misaligned. Never clean directly by hand or forcibly start the equipment. If the die cutting edge is found to be cracked or dull, the machine must be stopped immediately for replacement or grinding to avoid burrs and workpiece deformation. Simultaneously, check whether the damage is caused by incompatible raw material hardness or excessive stamping pressure.

Daily maintenance and troubleshooting should be meticulously recorded and managed routinely. Detailed records should be kept of the content of each maintenance session and the parts replaced. Troubleshooting findings and their solutions should be categorized and archived for future reference. Regularly conduct a comprehensive inspection of the overall condition of the die. Dies that are severely worn and beyond repair should be promptly scrapped and replaced; the continued use of damaged dies is strictly prohibited. Through standardized daily maintenance and scientific troubleshooting, stamping operation safety can be ensured, production efficiency can be improved, and production costs can be reduced.
