Stamping operations are characterized by high speed and high pressure. Improper operation can easily lead to workplace accidents. Therefore, pre-operation preparation is the first line of defense for safety. Before operation, the stamping equipment must be thoroughly inspected to ensure that components such as the clutch, brake, and emergency stop button are sensitive and effective, and that the mold is securely installed, accurately positioned, and without looseness or displacement. At the same time, personal protective equipment must be worn as required. Loose clothing, jewelry, and long hair are strictly prohibited. Long hair must be tucked into a work cap, and cuffs must be tightly secured to prevent clothing or body parts from being caught in the equipment. Ensure you are in good condition and free from fatigue or distraction before starting the equipment.

Proper operation during the process is the core of protecting your safety. Strictly follow the operating procedures. Never put your hands directly into the mold gaps to pick up or place workpieces. Use specialized tools (such as tweezers, hooks, etc.) to avoid contact between your hands and the mold or slide block. Never adjust the mold or clean up waste material while the equipment is running. If adjustment or cleaning is necessary, the equipment power must be turned off first, and the operation should only be carried out after the slide block has completely stopped. Meanwhile, maintain focus, avoid idle chatter or horseplay, closely monitor equipment operation, and immediately press the emergency stop button if any abnormal sounds, vibrations, or malfunctions are detected. Disconnect the power supply and report the issue promptly. Unauthorized disassembly and repair are strictly prohibited.

Post-operation cleanup is equally important and can effectively prevent future safety hazards. After operation, the power supply must be switched off first. Once the equipment has completely stopped running, clean the waste material and workpieces from the mold, tidy the work surface, and return all tools to their proper places. Also, check that the equipment is switched off, the mold is properly stored, and maintain accurate records of equipment operation and safety checks.
