Causes of mold breakage and cavity wear
The consumption value of the mold is five times the value of the machine tool. The large consumption of the mold not only increases the production cost of the enterprise manufacturer, but also frequently changes the mold, causing the production line to stop production, which will cause greater loss. The manufacture of a new mold needs longer time and money.
Secondly, the cause of mold damage is not normal use. It is the wear and tear of local materials on the surface of the mold, improper operation, dust and foreign matter entering the mold during manufacturing, low hardness of the mold cavity, corrosive materials, too high temperature, too high humidity, improper selection of release agent and other reasons that lead to mold damage or even scrap.
Of course, nothing is never bad, the mold in the normal manufacturing of products, heat expansion and cold contraction, production, reciprocating fatigue state, the mold will also have a certain wear. In normal use, mold damage is mainly caused by impact force, pressure, thermal expansion and cold contraction, fatigue manufacturing, resulting in deformation, surface cracking, porosity, and even overall cracking.
