Several methods of mold assembly
The die assembly method is usually non-interchangeable. The non-interchangeable assembly methods mainly include fitting method and adjusting assembly method.
(1) Repair and assembly method: in the production of single piece and small batch, when the assembly accuracy is high, if the complete interchange method is adopted, the related parts will have high requirements, which is not conducive to reducing the cost. In such cases, the repair method is often used.
(2) Repair and adjustment method: The relevant die parts are manufactured according to economic machining accuracy, and the method is called adjustment assembly method, which can meet the requirements of specified assembly accuracy by changing the position of a part or selecting the appropriate size adjustment parts (such as gaskets, washers, sleeves, etc.) into the size chain for compensation during assembly.
Interchangeable assembly method: during assembly, each mold part with no selection, repair, adjustment, after assembly can meet the pre-specified assembly accuracy and technical requirements, this assembly method is called interchangeable assembly method. It is a method to control the manufacturing error of parts to ensure the assembly accuracy. The principle is that the sum of tolerances of the relevant parts is less than or equal to the allowable assembly error.
