The punch tip and die button are made from shock-resistant tool steel that withstands the sudden force of hydraulic ram impact. Even with hard structural steel, the cutting edges hold their shape. Operators can punch a batch of plates without frequent re-sharpening. The steel is heat-treated for maximum toughness.

We design the die set with a generous stripping system so slugs don't stick. After each stroke, the stripper plate pushes the material off the punch. This prevents jamming and keeps the workflow steady, especially on a busy fabrication shop floor.
