What is an aluminum profile mold, and how much do you know about aluminum profile molds?

Aluminum profiles are aluminum materials with different cross-sectional shapes obtained by hot melting and extrusion of aluminum rods.

A: The role of the mold: to deform the round aluminum rod into various shapes of aluminum.

B: Classification of molds:

1. According to the characteristics of aluminum profiles, it can be divided into flat die (solid) split die (hollow)

2. Flat die includes: integral die, guide die, die surface (die pad)

3. The shunt mode includes: false shunt, closed mode, suspension bridge mode, deflector type three-piece set.

4. According to whether the welding room is in the upper mold or the lower mold, it can be divided into the upper welding room or the lower welding room.

5. According to the number of outgoing materials, it can also be divided into one out of one and one out of several.

The aluminum material is relatively soft, so it is very easy to produce top damage, crush damage, scratches and deformation during stamping production. In addition to the requirements on the mold, the following points must be done during stamping production:

1. In order to stamp aluminum parts well and reduce the defect rate, we must first do 5S, especially cleaning, including molds, punching table, assembly line and packaging materials to ensure that there are no sharp debris, no dirt, and regular cleaning and rectification of molds. Clean up and down, no debris.

2. If the burr of the product is found to be large, send the mold for repair in time and follow up to the result.

3. Aluminum parts are easy to heat up and become hard when they are stacked together. Therefore, when punching and blanking, it is necessary to apply some pressure oil on the material (which can dissipate heat and dredge the blanking material smoothly) before punching.

4. Products with more punching holes need to be punched to clean the surface of the mold, so that the mold and the product will always be kept clean and free of debris, and reduce the top damage. If the top damage is found, find and solve the problem of the top damage of the mold before continuing production.
