Causes and countermeasures of burring in stamping die products
The raw edge of the product is one of the most common anomalies in the stamping die. Let's take a look at the causes and solutions of the raw edge.
1. Simple punching die burr
Approximate cause
1) Punch and die wear serious (normal damage).
2) Punch and die are scooped (including material punch twice or foreign matter in the die cavity, etc.).
3) The gap between punch and die is too large.
4) Punch and die clearance deviation.
5) The die is cracked due to plugging material.
Improvement method
1) Grinding punch and die edge, keep the edge sharp.
2) Depending on the extent of shovel damage, you can repair punch and concave die, or grind and repair welding, but serious cases need to be replaced with concave and convex die.
3) Check the concave die and punch, and trim the gap between the punch and punch according to the actual situation.
4) According to the correct position of the hole, determine the displacement of punch or die.
5) Increase the slope of the blanking hole of the die to ensure smooth blanking.

2. Possible causes of composite die and raw edge cutting
1) The automatic feeding deviation or not in place of composite die leads to unilateral cutting and the edge of the concave and convex die is damaged.
2) The internal and external guide post and the positioning tip of the concave and convex die are offset, resulting in uneven clearance.
3) For the cutting punch (punch) punch end face without shoulder, and the outside of the die will be worn, and the punch will be extruded outward to produce rough edge.
Improvement method
1) Adjust the parallelism and length of feeding
2) Re-close the mold, fit the gap of the concave and convex die, fix it, and then process the positioning tip of the concave and convex die.
3) Add the punch end to the shoulder.
3. Analysis of other raw edges
1) The workpiece positioning is too tight and the rough edge is scraped out.
2) Insufficient avoidance leads to scraping of raw edges (such as bud extraction, the avoidance of the edge folding process in the post work station)
3) Raw edge on the sprouting hole (there is raw edge when pre-punching)
Improvement countermeasure
1) Adjust positioning (ensure the correct positioning of working parts)
2) The avoidance will be increased.
3) Trim the rough edges of the pre-punched holes.
