What is single die and continuous die
The single punching die of the stamping die: it is generally composed of a source of a concave die and a punch or composed of a plurality of concave dies and a plurality of punches, but only one punching process can be completed at a time in the punching press.
Continuous die of stamping die: refers to the press in a stamping stroke, the use of strip stamping raw materials, in a pair of die with several different stations at the same time to complete a number of stamping processes of cold stamping die, die stamping is completed once, the material belt distance movement once, to the completion of the product. Continuous die is according to a certain sequence, in a stroke of the punch, in the workpiece at different positions to complete more than two stamping processes.
Continuous mold in the process of stamping material belt always moves in one direction, the mold inside the material belt cut off to two or more directions of movement called continuous die, belt feeding in the mold is completed in the mold called automatic continuous die, in a stamping production chain with different processes of stamping die.
Characteristics of continuous mold:
1, a pair of continuous die can complete blanking, bending, forming, drawing and other processes. The press can punch one work piece or process piece per stroke, so it has higher labor productivity than composite die.
2, the use of continuous die stamping can reduce the number of equipment, mold and workshop area, eliminating the transfer and storage of semi-finished products.
3, continuous die using coil material or belt material, feeding, discharging and lamination are easy to realize automation. Automatic continuous die stamping process, the body parts do not have to enter the dangerous area, safe operation.
