Furthermore, defects such as oxide scale, scratches, and impurities on the raw material surface directly affect the appearance and structural strength of the finished product, increasing the number of defective products.

Raw material quality control must begin with incoming inspection, establishing a strong first line of defense. Upon arrival, the specifications and material of the raw materials must be strictly verified, with a focus on thickness and hardness testing. Thickness should be accurately measured with calipers to ensure deviations are within the allowable process range, and hardness should be tested with a hardness tester to ensure compliance with stamping process requirements. Simultaneously, the surface of the raw materials should be visually inspected to check for defects such as oxide scale, scratches, and impurities. Unqualified raw materials must be resolutely rejected to prevent them from entering the production process. Inspection records should be maintained for subsequent traceability.

Comprehensive process control is key to ensuring raw material quality and improving yield. Raw materials must be stored separately, with proper moisture and rust prevention measures to avoid corrosion and surface damage. Before production, raw materials should be randomly inspected again to ensure they are free of quality issues before use. If minor defects are found, pre-treatment such as grinding and rust removal can be performed to reduce waste. Simultaneously, strengthened communication with suppliers, clear quality standards, and regular supplier qualification assessments are crucial to ensure stable raw material quality and improve the yield of stamped products from the source.
