Quality inspection must be carried out throughout the entire stamping production process. The primary focus is on incoming raw material inspection, controlling quality from the source. During inspection, the thickness and hardness of the raw materials are carefully checked to ensure they meet stamping process requirements, preventing workpiece deformation and cracking due to uneven thickness or excessive hardness. Simultaneously, the surface of the raw materials is inspected for defects such as oxide scale, scratches, and impurities. Unqualified raw materials are strictly prohibited from production. Inspection methods primarily involve measuring thickness with calipers and measuring hardness with a hardness tester, which are simple to operate, practical for workshop use, and suitable for batch inspection.

Inter-process inspection is the core link, focusing on key points in the stamping process to prevent the generation of batches of defective products. For each batch of workpieces produced, samples are randomly selected to check dimensional accuracy and shape conformity to drawing requirements. Key dimensions are measured with calipers and tape measures, and the workpiece surface is visually inspected for burrs, scratches, deformation, and other defects. For stretching and bending processes, the curvature and angle of the workpiece are checked for compliance. If defective products are found, the machine is immediately stopped, and problems with the molds and equipment parameters are investigated and adjusted promptly to prevent the spread of defects.

Finished product inspection is the last line of defense, requiring a comprehensive check for all potential quality issues. Inspection considers both appearance and internal quality. Visually, workpieces are thoroughly inspected for burrs, deformation, and scratches; dimensionally, key parameters are checked one by one to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Sampling inspection is also employed to test the strength and toughness of workpieces, adapting to the needs of mass production. Inspection records are established, detailing inspection results and the handling of non-conforming products, facilitating subsequent traceability. Through scientific inspection throughout the entire process, the consistent quality of stamped finished products is guaranteed.
