This tool is designed for the tough stuff-thick plates used in agricultural and construction equipment. The strip enters and goes through pilot punching, rough notching, finish trimming, and finally a cut-off station. Every station is built extra stiff to resist the shock of cutting heavy stock.
The die set uses oversized guide pillars and wear plates that can be shimmed or swapped during maintenance.

Punch bodies are made from a high-toughness tool steel that keeps an edge even on high-strength sheet. The scrap slugs drop cleanly, avoiding jam-ups that slow production.
By replacing torch-cut or machined blanks with these stamped parts, you get dramatically higher output and repeatable fit-up. The parts go straight into welding fixtures with minimal adjustment. It's a down-to-earth workhorse for shops making high volumes of thick metal components.
