The die shapes a flat blank into a deep bowl with a flat flange for undermount installation. A nitrogen cylinder system supplies blank holding pressure that helps metal flow into corners without cracking. After the draw, a restrike station sharpens the corner radii, giving the sink its crisp, contemporary look that customers prefer.

Because stainless steel work-hardens quickly, we use tough die steel with a friction-reducing coating. The piercing station punches the drain hole cleanly and shaves the edge so there is absolutely no burr. Scrap falls straight through the press bed, and operators can remove finished sinks by hand or with a simple mechanical lifter.
Setting up this punch die takes less than an hour. The pilots align the die to the press ram, and the shank mounting follows standard dimensions. It can be adapted for different bowl depths by changing draw rings. By producing sinks in-house with this tool, you cut delivery times and improve quality control for every single order.
