The mold works with aluminium foil coils from 0.05 to 0.15 mm thick. Once the foil is fed, the forming station presses the material into shape using controlled air ejection to release the finished container without tearing. The even material flow prevents thin spots at the corners, which is a common problem in cheap molds.
Because the mold surfaces are polished and coated, foil sticks less, so operators spend less time cleaning. Changeover between tray sizes is fast thanks to quick-clamp guides. Even a small team can switch between a 450 ml and a 750 ml container mold in under half an hour, which keeps production flexible for different client orders.
Regular lubrication of the guide pillars and checking the cutting edge on the foil feed keep this mold in good shape. When you notice burrs on the rim, simply regrind the trim station. A well-maintained aluminium foil container mold can run millions of cycles, making it a reliable workhorse for any foil packaging factory.
