The mold body uses pre-hardened steel that resists scratching from repeated draws. Its water-cooling channels run close to the forming surfaces, so heat doesn't build up during continuous production. This directly cuts cycle time and improves the final sink shape. It also prevents the material from sticking, which is common with low-grade molds.

We pay attention to how the blank is held. A controlled blankholder pressure prevents wrinkling around the bowl radius. When the material flows evenly into the cavity, the sink comes out with crisp corners and consistent wall thickness. This reduces scrap rate significantly during the first forming trials.
