The compound die arrangement ensures excellent concentricity between the central opening and mounting holes. A positive knockout system prevents part sticking and maintains flatness, which is critical for the part's function in door locking mechanisms.

The die set uses a high-precision steel frame with four-post guidance. Cutting punches and die plates are made from DC53 or powdered metallurgy high-speed steel, vacuum heat-treated for high toughness and wear resistance. Edges are sharpened by wire-cut EDM and surface-treated to reduce friction. All components of the door lock strike plate stamping die are interchangeable, allowing for quick repair and regrinding.
