1 Introduction
Stamping technology is widely used in the automotive, home appliance, and aerospace industries, characterized by high efficiency and high precision. With increasingly complex product structures, single-process stamping can no longer meet production demands, making multi-process collaborative design of composite stamping dies the mainstream approach. Simultaneously, introducing real-time monitoring and closed-loop control technology for stamping process parameters can ensure process stability, guarantee product consistency, and solve the problem of high defect rates caused by parameter fluctuations in actual production.

2 Significance of Multi-Process Collaborative Design for Composite Stamping Dies

Composite stamping dies can complete multiple processes such as cutting, forming, and bending within a single stamping stroke, increasing production efficiency by 40%-60% compared to single-process dies, reducing workpiece transfer and assembly time, and lowering labor costs. During the design phase, it is necessary to ensure precise coordination of each process, avoid process interference and material damage, and ensure product dimensional accuracy. Multi-process collaborative design requires coordinating parameters of each process, matching the die structure, optimizing material flow paths, evaluating the die's stress performance, ensuring overall die stability, and extending die life.

3. Closed-Loop Control Technology for Stamping Process Parameters

Closed-loop control technology collects key parameters such as stamping force, deformation, and die temperature in real time during the stamping process. Relying on sensors and intelligent control algorithms, it provides feedback to adjust stamping conditions, achieving dynamic optimization of process parameters. The specific implementation is as follows:

- Sensing and Data Acquisition: Force sensors and displacement sensors with an accuracy ≤ ±1%FS, and temperature sensors with an accuracy ±2℃, are selected and installed at the die punch, die holder, and cavity, respectively. Key parameters during the stamping process are collected in real time at a sampling frequency ≥100Hz to ensure data real-time performance.

- Data Analysis and Decision Layer: Machine learning algorithms are used to model the collected data and analyze parameter fluctuations in real time. When the parameter deviation exceeds ±5%, adjustment instructions are automatically generated to predict abnormal processing trends and prevent defective products from being produced in advance.

- Execution Control Layer: Based on the data analysis results, the stamping force (error ≤ ±5%), stamping speed (adjustable from 50-120 times/minute), and die clearance (adjustable from 0.01-0.05mm) of the stamping press are automatically adjusted to achieve fine parameter adjustment and ensure process stability. After adopting closed-loop control, the dimensional tolerance of stamped parts is stabilized within ±0.02mm, the surface roughness Ra≤0.8μm, the mold service life is increased by more than 30%, and the defect rate caused by process instability is reduced by 80%.
