Metallurgy & Cryogenic Treatment: We exclusively use third-generation PM high-speed steels, processed through vacuum hardening, triple tempering, and deep cryogenic treatment at -196°C. This converts retained austenite and creates a homogeneous matrix with uniformly dispersed fine carbides-without using any bulk carbide inserts. The resulting HRC 66–68 hardness provides exceptional toughness and chipping resistance.
Advanced PVD Coating Architecture: All forming and cutting components receive a CrAlSiN nano-composite coating deposited by arc evaporation. The coating delivers 3800 HV hardness, oxidation stability up to 1100°C, and a dry friction coefficient below 0.3. It effectively prevents cold welding and galling when stamping copper and brass, completely eliminating the need for carbide tooling while significantly extending maintenance intervals.
In-Die Monitoring & User-Replaceable Cartridges: The die is equipped with piezoelectric force sensors and ultrasonic tonnage monitors at every station, streaming real-time data for signature analysis to detect misfeed or slug pulling. For tryout, we provide a live HD video with synchronized press curves. The die ships with quick-change punch cartridges that can be replaced on-site without specialized grinding equipment, avoiding any carbide-related maintenance.
