Precision stamping dies are core equipment in the production of precision parts. Their structural rationality and manufacturing precision directly determine the dimensional stability, surface quality, and lifespan of the stamped parts. Dual control of structural design and manufacturing process is crucial for achieving high reliability, long lifespan, and high efficiency in die operation.

The structural design also considers assemblability and maintainability, adopting a modular structure to allow for quick replacement of vulnerable parts such as punches, dies, and inserts. During the design phase, finite element analysis is used to verify stress distribution and allowances are made for thermal expansion and elastic deformation compensation to ensure dimensional stability of the die under high-speed, continuous operation.

In terms of manufacturing processes, key components are made of high-performance mold steels such as SKD11, DC53, and H13, undergoing a complete process of roughing, semi-finishing, finishing, grinding, and polishing. Precision machining methods such as CNC, EDM, WEDM, and internal and external cylindrical grinding are employed, with dimensional accuracy controlled within ±0.002mm and form and position tolerances ≤0.005mm. Dimensional inspection is performed at each process to ensure part consistency.

Heat treatment employs vacuum quenching, deep cryogenic treatment, and multiple low-temperature tempering to stabilize the hardness at HRC58–62, balancing hardness and toughness to prevent cracking and brittle fracture. Key working areas undergo surface strengthening processes such as nitriding and PVD coating to improve wear resistance and anti-galling capabilities, reduce the coefficient of friction, and extend mold life.
