Unlike a progressive die, a forming tool often does multiple shape changes in a single press stroke. Here the metal blank sits on the lower form and the upper tool pushes it into the desired contour. The tool surface is polished and coated to reduce friction, so the metal flows evenly into corners without thinning too much.

We build the tool blocks from pre-hardened mold steel and match the profile exactly to your bracket drawing. The guide system keeps the halves aligned, and a positive knock-out pin ejects the formed part reliably. This simple structure means you can install the tool on both mechanical and hydraulic presses without special adapters.
