I. Core Structural Components of Metal Stamping Dies
A metal stamping die consists of a core structure including a die base, punch, die, guiding mechanism, and elastic buffer components. Each unit independently performs a specific function, working together to complete continuous stamping operations.

1. Die Base
The die base is the overall load-bearing base of the die, used to integrate and fix all die components, directly bearing the impact load and forming pressure of the stamping equipment. The die base is made of high-strength structural steel, possessing high rigidity, high structural stability, and resistance to deformation. It can effectively avoid structural deformation under heavy load conditions, ensuring the dimensional tolerances of parts and the overall operational safety.

2. Punch
The punch is the core forming component that directly acts on the metal sheet, causing plastic deformation through mechanical pressure. Combining the requirements of different stamping processes such as shearing, bending, stretching, and flanging, the punch adopts a customized structural design. Its machining accuracy, surface quality, and material properties directly determine the dimensional accuracy and appearance quality of the stamped parts.

3. Die: The die and punch form a paired mating structure, used to constrain the forming area of ​​the sheet metal and limit the range of material deformation. The die can counteract the springback stress after sheet metal forming and control forming accuracy. Long-term reciprocating impact and friction conditions require the die to have high hardness, high wear resistance, and fatigue resistance to reduce component wear and maintain long-term mass production stability.

Guiding Mechanism: The guiding mechanism, with guide pillars and guide sleeves as core components, is used to constrain the movement trajectory of the punch and die, ensuring the coaxiality and repeatability of the upper and lower dies during mold closing. This structure can eliminate mold closing deviations, reduce abnormal wear of die components, lower stamping scrap rate, and stabilize continuous high-speed production operations.

Elastic Buffer Component: The elastic buffer and spring component are key auxiliary structures of the die, mainly absorbing instantaneous impact loads during the stamping process, weakening mechanical vibration, and reducing rigidity wear of the die and stamping equipment. At the same time, this component can achieve rapid reset of the die forming components, ensuring continuous cyclic operation of the stamping process and improving overall production efficiency.
