Custom Metal Parts Stamping Dies

Pre-start Inspection: Verify the die and equipment model. Tighten all connecting bolts on the die with a torque wrench to ensure the locating pins are secure. Thoroughly wipe the die cavity, guide pillars, guide sleeves, and unloading surface with a lint-free cloth to remove iron filings, oil, and other impurities. Check the lubrication lines for blockages and manually add grease to the specified amount. Operators must wear protective glasses and cut-resistant gloves, and close the equipment safety door.

Operation During Operation: Set the stamping pressure, stroke, and speed according to the equipment nameplate. Do not adjust parameters arbitrarily. During equipment operation, monitor die movement through the observation window to ensure the feeding position is aligned with the die center and the material is not skewed. Listen to the equipment's sound; if abnormal noises, jamming, or excessive burrs occur, immediately press the emergency stop button. Investigate for die jamming, cutting edge damage, or other problems, and only restart after repair. After every 500 pieces produced, use a feeler gauge to check the die cutting edge wear and record any loosening or wear.

Post-shutdown maintenance: After shutdown, clean the iron filings inside the mold with a copper brush and blow the cavity and chip removal groove with compressed air. Apply anti-rust lubricant to moving parts such as mold guide pillars and springs, and spray a special rust inhibitor onto the cavity surface. After wiping the mold clean, store it in its proper place according to model, fill in the mold maintenance log, and note the production quantity, wear condition, and maintenance measures.
