Safety Guidelines for the Use of Stamping Dies
(Safety Points in Installation, Debugging, and Maintenance)

Stamping die installation is the first step in safe use and must be strictly followed according to operating procedures. Before installation, turn off the main power supply to the equipment, ensure the slide is at bottom dead center and locked to prevent accidental start-up. During installation, verify that the die model matches the equipment. Two people should work together, handling the die gently to prevent collisions or falls that could cause injury. The die must be securely fixed; tighten all bolts, check the die positioning pins, guide pillars, and guide sleeves for deformation or jamming, and ensure the die is aligned with the equipment's centerline. After installation, check again to ensure there is no looseness before proceeding with further operations.
The die debugging phase is high-risk and requires comprehensive safety precautions. Before debugging, wear appropriate protective equipment and never touch the die cutting edge, guide pillars, or other critical parts with your hands. During debugging, start the equipment at low speed, gradually adjusting the slide stroke and clearance, and observe the die's operating status. High-speed, no-load debugging is strictly prohibited. If any abnormalities such as jamming or unusual noises occur, immediately stop the machine and disconnect the power. After the slider has completely stopped, clean it with a specialized tool. Do not forcibly start the equipment or attempt to handle it manually. Only resume normal production after the equipment has been properly adjusted and tested.

Routine maintenance is crucial for preventing mold safety hazards and must be implemented consistently. During production breaks or after each day's work, promptly clean the mold surface and cutting edges of waste materials and oil stains to prevent waste accumulation that could lead to jamming. Regularly check the wear of the mold cutting edges; replace or grind any cracked or dulled edges to prevent workpiece burrs and jamming from causing safety accidents. Regularly lubricate moving parts such as guide pillars and guide sleeves, check for loose bolts and locating pins, and maintain maintenance records. Never use damaged or deformed molds for production to mitigate safety risks at the source.
