The design of the head forming mold is aimed at improving the quality of the formed head and reducing the cost. By adjusting the pressure of the edge pressing die, the local stretching and thinning can be slowed down during the pressing process, making the thickness of the formed head more uniform. This design not only meets the minimum thickness requirements of each part of the head, but also reduces the waste of raw materials and reduces the weight and cost of the finished head.
The head is an important component in the pressure vessel, usually connected to the cylinder by welding. According to the different geometric shapes, the head can be divided into spherical, elliptical, dish-shaped, spherical cap, conical shell and flat cover.
